The white coast, directly translated, gets her name from the endless sand beaches ranging from Valencia, in the north, to the inland sea "Mar Menor" in the south. The water quality is especially good and therefore almost all the beaches around Torrevieja have been awarded the Blue Flag of the EU, promising not only crystal clear water and clean beaches, but also modern infrastructure such as children's playgrounds, Volley ball nets and showers.
