Corvera Golf Resort

This latest release of CALIDONA (Sea and Sun Resorts) is situated near the natural park of the Sierra de Carrascoy in a beautiful valley 2 km from the village of Corvera. The historic town of Murcia is 15 minutes, the coast 20 minutes away. The future international airport of Murcia is only a short drive away and will be open in 2008.

The resort extends over 2,1 million sqm. The heart of the resort is the international competition standard 18 hole golf course (par 72) designed by José María Olazábal.

Around the green of the course and integrated in the natural setting of the site you find the residential areas. One important difference to many other developments is the low density of construction: The 1.845 properties, apartments and villas, will be built on only 9% of the ground. This leaves a lot of open natural spaces and garden areas apart from the 70 hectares golf course. The design of the resort is left in hands of the famous landscaping company WATG.

Security of the residential areas is an important feature of Corvera Golf & Country Club. The properties are situated within a closed perimeter with access control and 24h security surveillance. There is also a strong emphasis on services such as health care, housekeeping and rental services, maintanace in absence of the owner, sports facilities including indoor swimming pool and spa, horse riding and trekking trail.
