La Perla del Mar Menor is an exciting new beachside Leisure resort in the Murcia Region. One of only two resorts on the Costa Calida offering front line beach property. La Perla is located five minutes south of Los Alcazares, thirty minutes by motorway from the city of Murcia and ten minutes from Murcia airport. The countryside surrounding La Perla includes mountains to the north, and forests and farming land to the south with the Mar Menor to the east.

La Perla is close to various golf courses, with two new 18 hole courses (Novo Carthago) planned next door to the resort.

The historically important cities of Murcia and Cartagena are also close by and well connected by an excellent road system. There is also a new international airport being constructed close to Murcia city with all necessary road links to the area of the Costa Calida & the Mar Menor area.

The land directly adjacent to La Perla del Mar Menor has just received final planning permission for a full 18 hole golf course. Golf is a huge feature of this area and there will soon be a choice of 9 courses all within a 15 minute drive. La Perla consists of an up market, low-rise hotel complex with restaurants, bars, shops, spas, and leisure facilities such as tennis courts, indoor heated pool, gardens and an extended promenade adjacent to a broadened beach with beach bars etc.
